Yes, you can switch anytime.
Upgrade: Takes effect immediately after payment, but the billing cycle will not reset. It continues based on your original cycle. Upgrading only requires paying the price difference. Example: You purchased a $20 plan and have used it for 10 days (20 days remaining in the cycle). If you upgrade to the $100 plan now, the new plan will be active for the remaining 20 days; any unused credits will roll over to the next month (rollover is only for one month, not permanent).
Downgrade: Takes effect on the first day after your current billing cycle ends. If storage capacity decreases, the system will remind you in advance to export or clear projects to avoid any impact on your MGX usage. Downgrades are non-refundable and must wait until the current billing cycle ends. Example: If you purchased a $100 plan and have used it for 10 days (20 days remaining in the cycle), downgrading to a $20 plan will take effect only after the current cycle ends (20 days later). The $100 plan will expire, and the $20 plan will start the next day. Any unused Credits will roll over to the next month (rollover is only for one month, not permanent).
You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time on the Settings → Plans and Billing page or the Pricing → Payment page to get more Credits, which will take effect immediately.
Depending on the specific situation, unused Credits will be automatically carried over to the next billing cycle in the following cases (rollover is only for one month, not permanent):
Unused Credits after an upgrade
Extra bonus Credits granted by the system in addition to the daily fixed Credits (750K) under special circumstances
Credits earned from inviting new users
Credits obtained through redemption codes
If downgrading/ upgrading reduces your storage limit, you’ll get a reminder to back up or delete files to prevent any impact on the normal use of MGX.
Yes. Both Pro and Max plans renew automatically every month unless you downgrade via the Settings → Plans and Billing page or the Pricing → Payment page before your next billing cycle starts.
Yes, you can downgrade your current plan to the Free plan at any time via the Settings → Plans and Billing page or the Pricing → Payment page. The downgrade will take effect on the first day after the current billing cycle ends.
You can view your current plan, Credits tier, remaining balance, and billing history anytime in the Settings → Plans and Billing page or the Pricing → Payment page.
Credits are points used to access services, including daily bonus credits, monthly subscription credits, and reward credits.
The system automatically uses credits in this order: daily credits (750K per day) first, then subscription credits, and finally bonus credits.
